Based on TenViz proprietary data we tracked 4 distinct sources of inflows:
  1. US Equities – retail investors
  2. US & Canadian Treasuries – family offices?

Real estate REITs are roaring higher

The last 1 Month Residential real estate REITs are roaring higher, being up +5-9% on average, while Office REITs are down almost symmetrically 4-6%.
That signals the end of depopulation of big cities (like SF, Boston, NYC) yet the trend of WFH is here to stay…

Is forcing investors to dump energy investments the best way to fight the global warming?

Certainly, not!
Like, in other ugly illegal markets (weapons, drugs, etc.) demand will unfortunately find its supply.
Most economists would argue that instead, heavy taxes on carbohydrates at the well, would reduce overconsumption of Energy and overpackaging.
Curiously, Europe had heavy gasoline taxes for decades, and European environmental footprint was always low…

Why Value style of investing should outperform in 2021?

Why Value style of investing should outperform in 2021?
Value style has underperformed for almost 10 years, and Value Equities are cheap…
Given that Value works when interest rates go higher.
Inflation is picking up, including through commodities.
As Rates head higher, Value gains an upper hand over Momentum…

Why Value style of investing should outperform in 2021?

Year of Value and Small cap investing

As 2021 shapes to be a year of Value and Small cap investing, many small investors would become disadvantaged.

Small investors (RobinHood) tend to traffic in household names: Apple, Microsoft, JP Morgan, Tesla, McDonald’s.

The winners of 2021 would be obscure, small-cap recovery stocks, that nobody cares about. How much do we discuss companies like XONE (it is up 264% in 30 days!).

Another market indicator flashing red-hot inflation and demand for Energy is Uranium

That fuel metal is making all-time highs and is +55% in 3 months.
Uranium is, obviously, used as a base fuel for Nuclear power (Tesla batteries feed!)

Elon Musk’s public comments about Bitcoin and Dogecoin have predictably attracted tons of attention.

Hard-bent entrepreneurs like Musk have this sometimes illogic obsession with promoting their visions, they are so used to overcoming resistance to change…
Their obsession with moving fast and overcoming resistance is an indispensably critical trait of success in building a successful company.
Yet, that is not the case in investing which is by definition is regulated, where a Big Brother would (and, should) look for a possibility of market manipulation….
